Medasource is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a 13-week weekday-night travel assignment at IU Health Methodist Hospital in downtown Indianapolis. This opportunity offers a consistent 3x12 schedule at a large Level I Trauma hospital with a busy emergency department and advanced CT imaging services.
Assignment Details
- Three 12-hour night shifts
- Weekday schedule
- 36 hours per week

Clinical Setting
The CT department supports adult acute care, emergency department, ICU and outpatient imaging. Candidates should be comfortable working independently during overnight hours and handling urgent, high-acuity and trauma examinations.
The department performs routine and advanced CT studies, including:
- Emergency and trauma imaging
- Head, neck, chest, abdomen, pelvis and musculoskeletal examinations
- Stroke and vascular studies
- Coronary CTA
- TAVR and cardiac imaging
- Low-dose CT examinations
- Contrast-enhanced procedures
Responsibilities
- Perform CT examinations according to physician orders and facility protocols
- Prepare, screen and position patients for diagnostic imaging
- Start peripheral IVs and administer contrast as required
- Recognize and respond to adverse contrast reactions
- Select appropriate protocols and adjust technical factors
- Produce high-quality diagnostic images in a fast-paced environment
- Communicate effectively with radiologists, physicians, nurses and other clinical staff
- Document examinations using Cerner, RIS and PACS
- Complete equipment quality-control procedures
- Follow radiation-safety and infection-control standards
Requirements
- At least two years of recent CT Technologist experience preferred
- Recent hospital, emergency department, ICU or trauma experience
- ARRT certification in Radiography
- ARRT certification in Computed Tomography
- Current AHA BLS certification
- Active Indiana radiology license or ability to obtain it before starting
- Strong IV-start and contrast-administration skills
- Ability to work independently during night shifts
- Must meet all facility health and compliance requirements
