Travel CT Technologist - $2,851 per week

About the role

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a Computed Tomography Technologist (CT Tech) for an immediate travel assignment in Charlotte, North Carolina. This is a 13-week contract with 40 hours per week, working 10-hour night shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain imaging procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support as required.
  • Correctly interpret doctors' written instructions.
  • Appropriately position patients to scan specific areas of their bodies.
  • Use computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues.
  • Administer radiocontrast agents to patients to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues.
  • Evaluate CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality.
  • Follow safety procedures when working with radiation.
  • Maintain accurate patient records.
  • Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • ARRT (CT) National Certification with registration in computed tomography.
  • State-specific licensing when required.
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop easily.
  • Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
  • Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Pay

Pay package is based on 10-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
