Travel CT Technologist - $2,830 per week

Job Summary

A CT Technologist position is available in a healthcare facility located in Presque, Maine. This position involves primarily performing computed tomography (CT) scans, with rotation into radiography and possibly other modalities such as fluoroscopy and operating room procedures. The role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a diverse patient population, including adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients.

Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, typically Monday through Friday, with weekend rotation and scheduling in 6-week increments. The weekend schedule is based on requisitions and may vary.
• Technology/Equipment: Use of Siemens X.Cite and GE 16-slice PET CT scanners, Siemens and T-Rad general radiology equipment, Phillips C-Arm fluoroscopy units, and various portable imaging units.
• EMR system: Cerner, PACS platform: Enterprise Imaging AGFA.

Required Qualifications

• Valid BLS and ARRT (R) certification in CT
• Maine state license
• At least 1 year of CT experience
• Experience with adult, pediatric, outpatient, inpatient, trauma, and emergency patient types

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with CTA studies
• General imaging studies
• IV starts
• Biopsy procedures
• Familiarity with OR/C-arm fluoroscopy
• Comfort with being trained in new procedures and operating various imaging equipment

Support Within the Department

• The team includes a Lead Tech, internal transport staff, and 2 CT technologists on weekdays and evenings, with 1 on weekends.
• Radiologists are on site until approximately 4:30-5:00 pm, after which remote services are provided.

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
