Travel CT Technologist - $2,830 per week

About the role

American Traveler is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Buckhannon, West Virginia, starting July 20, 2026.

Responsibilities

• Perform general CT studies and portable and standard X-ray imaging
• Imaging performed includes general radiology, portable X-rays, and general CT studies
• Work 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays
• No on-call requirements
• Use TruBridge - Evident charting system and equipment such as Toshiba CT, Carestream DR, Canon DR, and Fuji PACS
• Holiday coverage may be required

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience
• Active ARRT and ARRT (CT) certifications required
• Current BLS certification required
• WV state license required if applicable
• Driver’s license copy required for consideration
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Qualifications

• A skills checklist completed within the past year is required for consideration
• Candidates must provide two references: one supervisor reference and one peer or additional supervisor reference
• Candidates who have previously worked at any WVU Medicine location must have taken a 2-year break before reapplying

Skills

• Knowledge of radiation safety protocols
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
