Travel CT Technologist - $2,824 per week

About the role

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 12‑week assignment in Black River Falls, Wisconsin. The position requires 40 hours per week on 8‑hour day shifts. As a CT Technologist you will operate computed tomography equipment, ensure image quality, prepare and care for patients undergoing CT scans, and maintain accurate records using the McKesson PACS system.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support as needed.
• Correctly interpret doctors' written instructions.
• Position patients appropriately to scan specific body areas.
• Use computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of internal organs and tissues.
• Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance visibility of internal structures.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality.
• Follow safety procedures when working with radiation.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist.
• Current BLS certification.
• ARRT (CT) National Certification with registration in computed tomography.
• State‑specific licensing when required.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, or stoop easily.
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning the assignment.
