Travel CT Technologist - $2,807 per week

About the role

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a Computed Tomography Technologist (CT Tech) for an immediate travel assignment in Hartford, Connecticut. This is a 13-week contract with 40 hours per week on an evening shift (8 hours).

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain procedures to patients while providing reassurance and support.
• Interpret doctors' written instructions accurately.
• Position patients correctly to scan specific areas of their bodies.
• Use computed tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues.
• Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance visibility of internal organs and tissues.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality.
• Follow safety procedures for radiation exposure.
• Maintain accurate patient records.
• Use the McKesson PACS system effectively.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• ARRT (CT) National Certification with registration in computed tomography.
• State-specific licensing where required.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for long periods.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Additional certifications may be required before starting an assignment.

Schedule

8-hour evening shifts, 40 hours per week for 13 weeks.
