Travel CT Technologist - $2,807 per week

About the role

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with ED, inpatient, and outpatient experience and required ARRT (CT) certification for a 13-week travel assignment in New Orleans, LA.

Responsibilities

• Work setting includes ED, inpatient, and outpatient environments within a large health system campus
• Candidate is expected to float between the ED, main campus, outpatient, and nearby clinics within walking distance
• Holiday coverage is required when a scheduled workday falls on a holiday
• Epic EMR experience required
• GE equipment experience required
• Perform CT imaging across multiple care settings including emergency, inpatient, and outpatient environments
• In the event of a declared emergency, travelers may be assigned to an emergency response team and expected to remain at the facility until the event passes or serve as part of a relief team

Requirements

• Current ARRT (CT) certification required
• BLS certification required (AHA)
• ED, inpatient, and outpatient CT experience required
• Proficiency with Epic EMR required
• Experience with GE CT equipment required
• Minimum of 1 prior travel assignment required — first-time travelers are not accepted
• Must reside 65+ miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Pay

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

5x8-hour day shifts from 10:00 AM to 8:30 PM
