About the role
Provides a variety of technical procedures requiring the use of ionizing radiation. This position requires independent judgment and technical skills to produce the best possible radiography for the purpose of diagnosis and treatment.
Responsibilities
- Performing CT and X-Ray examinations
- Produces radiographs using proper technical factors and evaluates each film for proper exposure and positioning
- Schedules exams and properly instructs patients on preparations for exams
- Sets up and organizes rooms for any radiographic procedures
Accountability
The Imaging/Radiologic Technologist reports directly to the Imaging Services Manager.

- Visual and hearing acuity required to receive feedback and information from patients
- Periods of stooping, standing, bending, moderate lifting, and generally oriented patient care
