Job Summary

A CT Technologist position is available in TILLAMOOK, Oregon. This critical role involves operating computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce detailed cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissues for diagnostic purposes. The position also encompasses performing general radiography and fluoroscopy procedures.

Job Details

  • Location: TILLAMOOK, Oregon
  • Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Associates degree in Radiologic Technology (preferred)
  • Certification: Registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT)), advanced certification in computed tomography (required in Oregon and Hawaii, preferred in California), ARRT-Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT) certification (required)
  • Skills: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor per organization policy, venipuncture certification (preferred in California and Oregon)

Responsibilities

  • Assessing, Planning, Implementing, and Evaluating Care: Producing sagittal and coronal reformatted images, utilizing picture archiving and communication system (PACS) and teleradiology system for image transfer, maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality guidelines
  • Routine Equipment Maintenance and Supply Inventory Management: Routine equipment maintenance and supply inventory management

Pay and Schedule

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
