About the role
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a Level II trauma facility in Redding, California.
Responsibilities
- Performs CT scans on both inpatient and outpatient populations across OR and ER settings
- Uses Cerner EMR along with Philips iPatient 64 and Big Bore 16 CT equipment
- Works with 12-hour night shifts on an every-other-weekend (EOW) schedule
- May require call coverage, discussed during the interview process
- Works under radiologist coverage in-house until 6 PM, with on-call coverage overnight
- Participates in floor-specific orientation consisting of 1-2 shifts in the department
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of CT experience required
- Current BLS (AHA) certification required
- Current ARRT (R) certification required
- Licenses required if applicable
- Coverage in Level II Trauma experience preferred but not required
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Self-starter capable of working independently, especially on night shifts
Qualifications
- Scrub color requirement: Teal, unless working in the OR where scrubs are provided
- Must be available to work holidays as needed

Pay
The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

This is a 12-hour night shift position lasting 36 hours per week for 13 weeks, starting August 17, 2026.
