About the role
We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Tennessee. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality computed tomography (CT) examinations while ensuring patient safety, delivering exceptional patient care, and collaborating with the radiology team in a fast-paced hospital environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic CT examinations according to physician orders and established imaging protocols.
- Prepare, position, and educate patients for CT procedures while ensuring comfort and safety.
- Operate CT imaging equipment and maintain high-quality diagnostic images.
- Administer contrast media when appropriate and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
- Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection prevention protocols.
- Accurately document procedures and patient information in the electronic medical record.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate patient care.
- Maintain equipment quality control and report any operational issues promptly.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent CT Technologist experience required.
- ARRT (CT) certification required.
- Previous travel experience required. First-time travelers will only be considered with 3+ years of recent CT experience.
- Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols, patient positioning, and radiation safety.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and patient care skills.
- Travelers must reside more than 100 miles from the assignment location to qualify.
- All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application.
- Valid driver’s license is required with the submission.
- Candidates must meet all compliance requirements before the assignment begins.
- Current influenza vaccination is required with no exemptions.
Schedule
- Night Shift: Sunday through Wednesday, 7:30 PM to 6:00 AM (4 x 10-hour shifts).
- Schedule may be adjusted based on departmental needs.
- Block scheduling is not available.
