Travel CT Technologist - $2,767 per week

About the role

We are seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Tennessee. The ideal candidate will perform high-quality computed tomography (CT) examinations while ensuring patient safety, delivering exceptional patient care, and collaborating with the radiology team in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT examinations according to physician orders and established imaging protocols.
• Prepare, position, and educate patients for CT procedures while ensuring comfort and safety.
• Operate CT imaging equipment and maintain high-quality diagnostic images.
• Administer contrast media when appropriate and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection prevention protocols.
• Accurately document procedures and patient information in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely and accurate patient care.
• Maintain equipment quality control and report any operational issues promptly.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent CT Technologist experience required.
• ARRT (CT) certification required.
• Previous travel experience required. First-time travelers will only be considered with 3+ years of recent CT experience.
• Strong knowledge of CT imaging protocols, patient positioning, and radiation safety.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and patient care skills.
• Travelers must reside more than 100 miles from the assignment location to qualify.
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application.
• Valid driver’s license is required with the submission.
• Candidates must meet all compliance requirements before the assignment begins.
• Current influenza vaccination is required with no exemptions.

Schedule

• Night Shift: Sunday through Wednesday, 7:30 PM to 6:00 AM (4 x 10-hour shifts).
• Schedule may be adjusted based on departmental needs.
• Block scheduling is not available.
