Travel CT Technologist - $2,766 per week

About the role

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 3+ years of experience and ARRT(CT) certification for a 13-week assignment in Hilo, Hawaii. The position is in the Diagnostic Imaging department performing CT and vascular imaging on 10‑hour shifts with variable scheduling (4x10hrs), 40 hours per week, no call requirements.

Responsibilities

• Scan per radiologist protocols and perform routine CT scans independently without supervision.
• Perform CT and vascular imaging as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2‑3 years of experience in an acute hospital setting.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ARRT(CT) certification.
• Current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license (or must obtain before assignment start).
• Ability to report to Employee Health 48‑72 hours prior to assignment start for clearance (arrive in Hawaii by the Thursday before a Monday start).
• Proof of flu vaccination or facility‑approved medical/religious exception required prior to contract start.
• No RTO will be granted during the first 13 weeks of the contract.

Skills

• Experience with Meditech EMR, Canon/Toshiba CT units, and Vitrea workstation (preferred).
• Experience with venipuncture, MIP, MPR, and 3D imaging (preferred).
• Experience with biopsies, drainages, vascular or cardiac imaging, trauma, or stroke imaging (a plus).

Pay

Pay package is based on 10‑hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
