Travel CT Technologist - $2,766 per week
About the Role
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Hilo, Hawaii. This role is in a diagnostic imaging department within an acute hospital setting, offering 10-hour shifts with varied scheduling and no call requirements.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine CT scans independently without supervision, following radiologist protocols.
- Operate Canon/Toshiba CT units and Vitrea workstation (preferred).
- Conduct venipuncture and utilize MIP, MPR, and 3D imaging techniques (preferred).
- Assist with advanced procedures such as biopsies, drainages, vascular or cardiac imaging, trauma, or stroke imaging (preferred).
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CT Technologist.
- Minimum of 2 years' work experience in an acute hospital setting.
- Current ARRT(CT) certification required.
- Current BLS certification required.
- Active State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license (or ability to obtain prior to assignment start).
- Experience with Meditech EMR preferred.
- Proof of flu vaccination or facility-approved medical/religious exception required prior to contract start.
Additional Information
- Must report to Employee Health 48-72 hours prior to the start of the assignment for clearance.
- Candidates should plan to arrive prior to a Monday start to accommodate Employee Health scheduling.
- No RTO (return-to-origin) will be granted during the first 13 weeks of the contract.
- Candidates without an active Hawaii license must apply for licensure upon acceptance of the offer and secure it by the assignment start date.
Schedule
- Duration: 13 weeks.
- Hours: 40 hours per week.
- Shift: 10 hours, flexible (4x10hrs, variable scheduling).
- Start Date: October 19, 2026.
