About the Role

MetaSense, Inc. is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a position in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This entry-level role works under immediate to general supervision to achieve initial competencies required to deliver specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology services to adult and/or pediatric patient populations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide safe, high-quality, efficient, and cost-effective patient-centric care and support services in various settings, including acute inpatient facilities, outpatient practices, diagnostic/urgent care centers, and remote clinics.
  • Prepare patients for procedures and correlate clinical history with physician-ordered procedures.
  • Communicate and collaborate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary care teams to achieve clinical outcomes and operational goals.
  • Operate specialized cardiovascular and/or radiologic equipment to perform diagnostic, interventional, and/or surgical procedures within established scope of practice.
  • Conduct post-procedure reviews with or without a preceptor to ensure completion, documentation, and technical quality consistent with department protocols and accreditation standards.
  • Transfer images and data to archival systems, enter technical findings, and prepare studies for physician reporting.
  • Perform operator-level quality control, cleaning, high-level disinfecting, and maintenance of equipment per manufacturer and regulatory guidelines.
  • Participate in continuing education, professional development, and research activities to maintain competencies and improve care.

Requirements

  • ARRT CT certification and BLS certification.
  • Level 1 trauma experience.
  • Skill in applying principles of cardiovascular and/or radiologic technology, medical imaging, medical terminology, patient positioning, and medical ethics.
  • Ability to work as part of a team, follow instructions, and maintain consistent attendance.
  • Sensitivity to patients' physical and psychological needs.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records, draw conclusions, and make appropriate recommendations.
  • Discretion in handling confidential information and sound judgment in stressful situations.
  • Ability to multi-task, remain calm under pressure, and work with minimal supervision.
  • Understanding of normal and abnormal anatomy and physiology, as well as core cardiovascular and/or radiologic technologies and terminology.

Qualifications

  • Required Education: Graduate of a CAAHEP-accredited program with emphasis in a primary cardiovascular specialty or graduate of a JRCERT-accredited program with emphasis in a radiologic technology specialty.
  • Preferred Education: Associate's degree or higher.
  • Certifications & Licensure:
    • Must meet eligibility requirements for CT Certification (ARRT) and achieve it within 12 months of hire.
    • AHA BLS certification.

Schedule

  • 36 hours per week.
  • 12-hour shifts, days.
