About the role
Travel CT Technologist position available in Matthews, North Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) technology
- Ensure accurate patient identification and preparation for scans
- Operate and maintain CT equipment according to manufacturer guidelines and hospital policies
- Document patient information and results accurately in medical records
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret images and provide clinical guidance
Requirements
- Current state-issued license as a CT Technologist
- Experience with CT scanning techniques and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and healthcare team members
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Completion of an accredited radiology program
- Passing scores on relevant licensing exams
Skills
- Proficiency with CT equipment and software
- Knowledge of radiation safety protocols
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Strong organizational and time management skills
