About the role
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT (CT) certification for a weekend day shift position in an acute care hospital setting. This is a 13-week travel assignment starting August 3, 2026, with 36 hours per week on a 12-hour day shift schedule.
Details
- Acute care hospital CT department with 2 Aquilion Toshiba 64-slice scanners (one in the main department, one in the Emergency Department)
- High-volume environment averaging 80–100 patient exams per day
- Cerner EMR is used in this position
- Schedule is 3x12-hour shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM
- Holiday coverage may be required
- Gray scrubs are required
- A radiation badge is required and must be provided by the traveler's agency — the facility will not supply one
- Any background hits must be disclosed upfront
- Travelers who have previously worked at any WVU Medicine location must have taken a minimum 2-year break before reapplying
- Travelers may not work within the WVU system for longer than one cumulative year without taking a 2-year break
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience
- Current BLS and ARRT (CT) certification required
- Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
- A copy of an unexpired driver's license is required for consideration
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour shifts, days (11:00 AM to 11:00 PM)
- Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
