Travel CT Technologist - $2,755 per week

About the Role

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for an assignment in Rochester, New York. This is a 13-week contract position with a duration of 19 weeks, requiring 36 hours per week on a flexible 12-hour shift schedule. The role is Monday to Friday, with varying shifts of either 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM or 9:30 AM - 6:30 PM. No weekends, call, or holidays are required.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history and physician's orders, educating patients regarding procedures, equipment, and exams to ensure understanding and cooperation.
• Position patients and perform imaging procedures while ensuring proper imaging techniques related to the patient's age and ability to understand the procedure.
• Review patient information and data interpretations to confirm appropriate plans and interventions, ensuring they meet age-related needs.
• Perform nuclear medicine imaging and therapy in accordance with applicable standards, policies, values, and mission of the organization.
• Analyze results, identify and resolve imaging quality issues, and enter and transmit scan results.
• Manage the ordering, preparation, administration, and disposal of radiopharmaceuticals according to established protocols.
• Continuously monitor patient condition and respond to changes.
• Maintain an appropriate inventory of supplies in the Clinical Nuclear Medicine rooms.

Requirements

• ARRT CT certification.
• Nuclear Medicine Technologist certification (CNMT) from the NMTCB or ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine (NM).
• New York State Licensure.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
• CT certification and PET/CT experience preferred.

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
