About the role
American Traveler is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Omaha, Nebraska starting August 31, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans under the supervision of a radiologist
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures
- Adhere to radiation dose management protocols
- Document patient information accurately and securely
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed
Requirements
- 1+ year of recent experience in this setting
- Valid professional license or registration if required by this state
- Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
- Valid Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification through AHA recommended and may be required
- Valid ARRT or ARDMS Credentials per your discipline
- Specialty-related certifications are preferred and may be required

Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current certification as a CT Technologist from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Technologists (ARMRT)
- Current certification as a Registered Computed Tomography Technologist (R-CT) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
- Current certification as a Registered Computed Tomography Technologist (R-CT) from the American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Technologists (ARMRT)

Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
