About the Role
Northside Medical Center Imaging is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment. The ideal candidate will have recent CT imaging experience and be proficient in performing high-quality diagnostic CT examinations while ensuring patient safety and comfort in an outpatient setting.
Position Details
- Location: Northside Medical Center Imaging, 2200 Medical Center Blvd, Suite G1, Lawrenceville, GA 30046
- Duration: 13 Weeks
- Schedule: Days, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (4×10-Hour Shifts) – 40 Hours/Week
- Department: 7213V Rad-2200 Outpatient Radiology – CT
- Local Policy: No local candidates within 50 miles
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent CT Technologist experience
- Current ARRT (CT) Certification
- Current AHA BLS Certification
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT scans following physician orders and departmental protocols
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures while ensuring comfort and safety
- Administer contrast media in accordance with facility policies and monitor patients for adverse reactions
- Operate and maintain CT imaging equipment, ensuring optimal image quality
- Follow radiation safety standards and infection control guidelines
- Accurately document procedures and patient information in the electronic medical record
- Collaborate with radiologists and the healthcare team to provide timely diagnostic imaging services

Holiday Requirement: Travelers must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day) and 1 of the 3 minor holidays (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve).
