About the role
American Traveler is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Hilo, Hawaii.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine CT scans per radiologist protocols, including MIP, MPR, and 3D reconstructions
- Advance procedures such as biopsies, drainages, MIP, MPR, and 3D imaging are a plus
- Operate Canon/Toshiba CT units and Vitrea workstation
- Work in Meditech EMR system
- Work 10-hour shifts with no call required
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an acute hospital CT setting
- Current ARRT(CT) certification required
- Current BLS/BCLS certification required
- Active State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license required by start of assignment
- Venipuncture experience a plus
- Experience with vascular or cardiac imaging, trauma, stroke, or interventional procedures (biopsies, drainages) a plus
Qualifications
- Must have a valid State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license by start of assignment
- Flu vaccination or a facility-approved medical or religious exemption is required prior to contract start
- Must report to Employee Health 48–72 hours prior to the start of the assignment
Skills
- Knowledge of CT scan protocols
- Ability to operate advanced imaging equipment
- Proficiency in Meditech EMR system
- Experience with vascular or cardiac imaging, trauma, stroke, or interventional procedures

Pay
The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
