American Traveler is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Burlington, Wisconsin.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: CT TechnologistDiscipline: Allied Health ProfessionalStart Date: 09/08/2026Duration: 13 weeks36 hours per weekShift: 12 hours, eveningsEmployment Type: TravelAssignment OverviewShift: Evenings, 3x12hrsHours: 36 hrs/wkStart Date: Sep 8, 2026Length: 13 weeksOpenings: 1DescriptionAmerican Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 3+ years of acute care experience who is skilled in both CT and X-ray for a 13-week evening shift assignment.DetailsLevel III Trauma Center and Primary Stroke Center with 123 bedsRadiology department with 2 CT rooms and 1 X-ray room plus 2 portable machinesPosition interchanges between X-ray and CT based on facility needsPatient population includes inpatient and ED cases only, no outpatientCT cases include strokes, traumas, abdominal, COVID, CTA, angiography, contrast and non-contrast, and vascular studiesX-ray duties include fluoroscopy, OR cases, and imaging of all body partsAverage of 45 scans per day with 1:1 patient ratios12-hour evening shifts, working Saturday-Sunday 9:30 AM-10:00 PM and Monday 8:30 AM-9:00 PM36 standard hours per weekMust be available to work 7 days a week and be flexible based on scheduling needs6-week schedule provided 4 weeks in advance with weekend rotation based on needOn-call requirements with a 30-45 minute response time1 holiday coverage required during the contractWorks independently at night without additional support on-siteUses Epic for charting and McKesson PACS systemGE and Toshiba CT scanners, Fuji portable and Cannon X-ray equipmentRequirementsMinimum 3 years of experience in an acute care setting requiredFirst-time travelers considered if they have 3+ years of acute care experienceCurrent BLS and ARRT certification requiredActive WI license required (license required if applicable)CT stroke and trauma experience requiredPortable X-ray and portable X-ray trauma experience requiredSkills in IV access (preferred), power injection, and CTA required for CTExperience with GE or Toshiba CT scanners preferredExperience with Fuji or Cannon X-ray equipment and fluoroscopy requiredEpic EMR experience preferredMust be a strong, independent candidate able to work without direct support during night shiftsAdditional InformationPerform CT and X-ray imaging across trauma, stroke, and general inpatient/ED casesSupport provided by the Supervisor of Imaging and Director of Imaging, Cardiovascular Service Line4 days of orientation, including meeting with the supervisor and hands-on training with X-ray and CT techsCOVID vaccination requiredAdequate PPE provided, including N95 masks and access to PAPRScrubs may be any color except camo or denim, and hoodies are not permittedFree parking available in designated areasLocal candidates accepted at the same pay rate with no radius restrictionsFormer Advocate Health employees must be separated for at least 12 months before becoming eligible for travel assignmentsAmerican Traveler Job ID #P-739615.
