Travel CT Technologist - $2,703 per week

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Bluffton, Indiana.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes.
• Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary.
• Set controls of related equipment, monitor patient and equipment, and make adjustments as needed.
• Assist radiologists with imaging procedures, starting IVs, and injecting contrast, if applicable.
• Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans.
• Absorb and assist radiologists with interventional CT procedures.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality, collate processed images in sequence of exposure, and appropriately label them.
• Schedule patients for procedures and assist with some clerical functions.
• Charge procedures and supplies used to the patient record.
• Load and operate power injections for contrast media administration.
• Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
• Maintain a safe work environment for both staff and customers, incorporating national patient safety initiatives.

Requirements

• Eighteen months prior experience in a health care setting as a CT Tech.
• ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification required.
• Licensure may be required in most states.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work nights.
• Must be able to work 40 hours per week.
• Must be able to work 10-hour shifts.

Skills

• Knowledge of CT equipment operation and maintenance.
• Experience with patient positioning and immobilization.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Pay

• Pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
• Tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
