Travel CT Technologist - $2,698 per week

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13‑week travel assignment in Turtle Lake, North Dakota. TotalMed Allied is a Top Ten travel nursing and healthcare staffing agency that places clinicians across all 50 states, focusing on putting highly‑skilled staff into facilities to ensure adequate staffing and a better patient experience. The position is for a Computed Tomography Technologist (CT Tech) with an immediate start, requiring 40 hours per week on 8‑hour day shifts. The role falls under the Allied Health Professional discipline.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support as required
• Correctly interpret doctors' written instructions
• Appropriately position patients to scan specific areas of their bodies
• Use computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues
• Administer radiocontrast agents to patients to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues
• Evaluate CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality
• Follow safety procedures when working with radiation
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist
• Current BLS certification
• ARRT (CT) National Certification with registration in computed tomography
• State‑specific licensing when required
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean or stoop easily
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology

Pay

Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
