Travel CT Technologist - $2,696 per week

About the role

A CT scan technologist must be able to accurately interpret a physician's scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, prepare and operate the CT scan equipment, and position the patient to capture the appropriate images.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and maintain patient history and medical records
• Prepare and operate CT scan equipment
• Position patients for imaging
• Administer contrast materials as directed
• Accurately interpret physician's scanning instructions
• Document patient information and results

Requirements

• Current state license as a CT technologist
• Experience in acute care setting preferred
• Knowledge of radiation safety protocols
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
• Current state license as a CT technologist
• ACR certification preferred
