Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 12‑week assignment in Summerville, South Carolina. The role starts on October 12, 2026, involves 40 hours per week of 10‑hour night shifts, and is classified as a travel allied health position. Under the supervision of certified radiologists, the CT Technologist produces computerized tomography radiographs, assists radiologists during procedures, supervises student technologists, and ensures patient safety and positive customer relations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the care and safety of patients during imaging procedures by utilizing age-appropriate care.
• Follow established protocols and perform procedures as directed, obtaining correct written orders as necessary.
• Efficiently manage time to meet quality, quantity, and timeliness expectations while assisting in the clinical education of student technologists. (40%)
• Utilize imaging equipment efficiently while minimizing the need for repeat examinations. Emphasize cost containment when using supplies. (20%)
• Prepare and instruct patients regarding imaging procedures and assist in obtaining informed consent as needed. Ensure patients understand the procedures and communicate effectively with family members regarding discharge instructions. (10%)
• Ensure accurate entry of orders, diagnoses, and clinical histories into the computer system. Communicate effectively with radiologists, maintaining professionalism in both verbal and written communications. (10%)
• Adhere to hospital and departmental safety policies and procedures. Implement good radiation protection practices according to DHEC and TJC guidelines, ensuring compliance with ALARA principles
