Travel CT Technologist - $2,684 per week

About the role

TotalMed Allied is a Top Ten travel nursing and healthcare staffing agency seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Little Falls, Minnesota. The position is full‑time (40 hours per week) with 8‑hour rotating shifts and starts immediately.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests and explain imaging procedures to patients, providing reassurance and support as required
• Correctly interpret doctors' written instructions
• Appropriately position patients to scan specific areas of their bodies
• Use computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues
• Administer radiocontrast agents to patients to enhance the visibility of internal organs and tissues
• Evaluate CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality
• Follow safety procedures when working with radiation
• Maintain accurate patient records
• Understand and use the McKesson PACS system

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist
• Current BLS certification
• ARRT (CT) National Certification with registration in computed tomography
• ARRT (R) certification
• State‑specific licensing when required
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean or stoop easily
