Travel CT Technologist - $2,681 per week

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Jacksonville, Florida.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes.
• Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary.
• Set and monitor equipment controls, make adjustments as needed, and assist radiologists with imaging procedures.
• Assist radiologists with interventional CT procedures, including starting IVs and administering contrast media.
• Evaluate CT scans for technical quality, collate processed images, and label them appropriately.
• Schedule patients for procedures and perform some clerical tasks.
• Charge procedures and supplies to the patient record, load and operate power injections for contrast media administration, and deliver quality patient care.
• Work effectively to maintain a safe and high-quality work environment for both staff and patients.

Requirements

• Eighteen months prior experience in a health care setting as a CT Tech.
• ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification.
• Licensure required in most states.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work nights.
• Must be able to work 40 hours per week.
• Must be able to work 8-hour shifts.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Shift: 8 hours, nights.
