About the role
A CT Technologist position located in Omaha, Nebraska. This role involves providing advanced imaging services in a busy, high-acuity environment. The technologist will perform a wide variety of diagnostic imaging procedures and support patient care in a fast-paced medical setting. The facility is fast-paced and high-acuity, requiring candidates to be adaptable, proactive, and capable of multitasking. The role may involve floating between main and university campuses and working with various imaging modalities, including CT, X-ray, and Ultrasound.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic CT imaging procedures
- Support patient care in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including Siemens equipment and Bracco contrast injectors
- Assist with venipuncture as needed
- Float between main and university campuses as required
- Provide excellent customer service and problem-solving in a dynamic setting
Requirements
- Certification as a Radiologic Technologist - ARRT (Radiography)
- BLS (American Heart Association)
- Willingness to work nights, weekends, and adapt to a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- No minimum experience required, though at least 2 years is typical for this role
- Preferred: Level 1 trauma experience
- Preferred: Travel experience
- Preferred: Proficiency in venipuncture
Schedule
- 12-hour night shifts (7:30 PM – 7:00 AM)
- 36 hours per week minimum
- Weekends (Saturday, Sunday, Monday) as scheduled
