About the role

TRS Healthcare is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a position in Richmond, Virginia.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography equipment.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during examinations.
  • Accurately document patient information and images in medical records.
  • Adhere to radiation dose guidelines to minimize patient exposure.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to interpret images and provide clinical guidance.

Requirements

  • Current certification as a Registered CT Technologist (R.T. [CT]) from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Experience in performing CT scans in a clinical setting.
  • Knowledge of radiation protection principles and techniques.
  • Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
  • ARRT certification preferred but not required.

Skills

  • Proficiency with CT equipment and software.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Effective problem-solving skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills.

Pay

The pay package is based on 10 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Shift: 10 hours, nights.
