About the role
A Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist is a highly skilled medical imaging professional who operates specialized, computer-controlled X-ray equipment to produce detailed cross-sectional images of a patient's internal organs, bones, and tissues. These diagnostic images directly assist radiologists and physicians in accurately diagnosing complex diseases, trauma, and disorders.
This is a travel position requiring 40 hours per week on a 10-hour night shift.
Responsibilities
- Operate CT equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images
- Assist radiologists and physicians in diagnosing medical conditions
- Adhere to facility protocols and safety standards
Requirements
- 2 years of CT Technologist experience (required)
- ARRT certification (required)
- Ability to work 10-hour night shifts (8:30 PM - 7:00 AM)
- Schedule: 7 days on, 7 days off (Wednesday night through the following Wednesday morning)
- Every other weekend required

McLaren Greater Lansing is a tertiary teaching hospital with 310 acute care beds, located in Lansing, Michigan. This medical center features:

Facility specifics:
- Nonbillable Hours: 12 hours of initial hours on bill rates over $40/hr
- OT/Holiday/Call back markups: 1.1x regular rates
- Extension discount: $1/hr on the initial extension
- Local traveler policy: Rate reduced by 10% for those with a permanent address within a 35-mile radius of the facility
- Dress code: Galaxy Blue scrubs (any color acceptable)
Pay
Pay package is based on 10-hour shifts and 40 hours per week. Rate: $100/hour (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
