About the role
This position is for three 12-hour day shifts a week in one of the Monument Health Urgent Care locations (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 6:45am to 7:00 pm). Shift: 12 hours, days (36 hours per week).
About the facility
New Freestanding Emergency Department (FSED) opening June 10th at 1911 Mall Dr., Rapid City, SD 57701. The facility includes:
- 9 ED Rooms
- 2 Inpatient Hold Rooms
- 1 CT Room
- 1 X-ray Room
This is a new facility with an expected patient volume of 1 patient every 30 minutes from 0700-1900.
Responsibilities
- Perform CT and X-ray duties independently as the solo CT/X-ray Technologist
- Support patient types typical for an urgent care/ED setting
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of CT experience (manager approval may be considered if it has been some time since the candidate has performed X-ray)
- Graduate of Radiology school
- BLS certification
- ARRT-CT certification
- No state license required for South Dakota
- Comfortable working independently
Skills
- Experience with Siemens CT (Go Excite Software) and CareStream X-ray (room and portable) preferred
- Proficiency with EMR: EPIC and PACS: Sectra

- Supervisor for ED Imaging Manager on-site or available via phone
