About the role
Travel position in Missoula, Montana starting 09/08/2026 for 13 weeks. 40 hours per week, 10-hour night shifts.
Schedule
- 7 days on, 7 days off block schedule starting Thursday evening and ending Wednesday morning
- Night shift hours: 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call required
- Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, and New Year’s Day
Responsibilities
- 1:1 patient ratio serving adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
- Perform CT scans in two dedicated rooms using Siemens Flash, DRIVE, and EDGE equipment
- Procedures include 3D rendering, abdomen/chest/head/pelvis with or without contrast, carotid, cervical, lumbar, thoracic, musculoskeletal trauma, trauma head, vascular chest (PE, CTA, aorta)
- Operate in emergency department and ICU settings
- Use Epic charting system and PACS
- Prepare and administer contrast media
- Adhere to radiation safety and isolation precautions/PPE protocols
- Start peripheral IVs
Requirements
- ARRT CT and ARRT R certifications
- BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience; first-time travelers must have over 5 years of experience
- Epic charting system experience required
- Level II Trauma Center experience preferred
- Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
- 2 professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
Facility
Short Term Acute Care, Level II Trauma teaching hospital with 209 staffed beds. The CT department operates with 5 CT Techs on days, 3 on evenings, 1 on nights, and 2-3 on weekend days. Interdisciplinary support includes respiratory services, social services, lift teams, and rapid response teams.
Pay
Estimated gross weekly pay: $2,659.40 based on 10-hour shifts and 40 hours per week.
