About the role
A Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist is a highly skilled medical imaging professional who operates specialized, computer-controlled X-ray equipment to produce detailed cross-sectional images of a patient's internal organs, bones, and tissues. These diagnostic images directly assist radiologists and physicians in accurately diagnosing complex diseases, trauma, and disorders.
Responsibilities
- Operate specialized, computer-controlled X-ray equipment to produce detailed cross-sectional images of a patient's internal organs, bones, and tissues.
- Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to ensure accurate diagnosis of complex diseases, trauma, and disorders.
- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain records.
Requirements
- 2 years CT Tech experience
- ARRT certification
- BLS certification
Qualifications
Travel CT Technologist positions require a strong background in medical imaging and a commitment to providing excellent patient care. Candidates must be able to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends.
