About the role
MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Grand Island, Nebraska.
Responsibilities
- Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes.
- Position patients for CT scans using immobilization and protective equipment as necessary.
- Set controls of related equipment, monitor patient and equipment, and make adjustments as needed.
- Assist radiologists with imaging procedures, starting IVs, and injecting contrast, if applicable.
- Dispense oral contrast to patients for CT scans.
- Absorb and label processed images in sequence of exposure.
- Schedule patients for procedures and assist with some clerical functions.
- Charge procedures and supplies used to the patient record.
- Load and operate power injections for contrast media administration.
- Deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner.
- Maintain a safe work environment for both staff and customers, incorporating national patient safety initiatives.
Requirements
- Eighteen months prior experience in a health care setting as a CT Tech.
- ARRT (CT) or ASRT certification required.
- Licensure may be required in most states.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
