Travel CT Technologist - $2,639 per week
About the role
Malone Healthcare is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Rapid City, South Dakota. This position starts on 09/07/2026 and offers a 36-hour workweek with 12-hour day shifts. First-time travelers are welcome if they are comfortable working independently.
Responsibilities
- Perform CT and X-ray scans on pediatric to geriatric patients
- Handle walk-in ED patients (ambulances not accepted at this time)
- Conduct scheduled outpatient scans for CT and X-ray, including walk-ins and referrals from the ER
- Perform extremities, spine, abdomen, and general CT and X-ray scans
- Manage stroke cases (neuro and cardiac cases, except stroke, will be transferred out quickly)
- Work independently as the solo CT/X-ray Technologist
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of CT experience (manager approval required if significant time has passed since last X-ray work)
- BLS certification
- ARRT-CT certification
- Graduate of a Radiology school
- Comfortable performing both CT and X-ray duties
- Experience with pediatric to geriatric patient types
No state license is required for South Dakota.
