Travel CT Technologist - $2,635 per week
About the role
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with 2+ years of experience performing both CT and X-ray in an acute care or ED setting for a 13-week travel contract in the Phoenix, AZ area.
Responsibilities
- Performing both CT and X-ray imaging studies
- Working in an outpatient community health center setting with potential floating to a main campus
- Handling patient populations including ED and behavioral health patients across all age groups: neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
- Using GE CT equipment on-site
- Working 3x12 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM on a varied schedule
- Occasionally working weekends depending on census needs
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Tech with proficiency in both CT and X-ray; X-ray experience must be reflected in work history
- Current BLS, ARRT (R)(CT), and Arizona DHS certificate for X-ray/CT required
- Experience with GE CT equipment required
- Adult acute care and ED work setting experience required
- Licenses required if applicable
Qualifications
Candidates must live at least 75 miles from the facility to be eligible. First-time travelers are generally not considered, but candidates with strong experience, Trauma Level I background, and required equipment proficiency may be evaluated. Teaching hospital or Trauma Level I experience is preferred.
Skills
Proficiency in both CT and X-ray imaging, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and strong communication skills are essential.

Pay
Based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation)
