Travel CT Technologist - $2,634 per week

About the Role

Operate computerized tomography (CT) scanners to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bodies for diagnostic purposes. Prepare and position patients, set technical parameters, and collaborate with radiologists to obtain high-quality images. Maintain equipment, document patient information, and adhere to radiation safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes.
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain the imaging process, and position patients appropriately.
• Set appropriate technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology.
• Provide high-quality images to Radiologists for interpretation.
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies to ensure patient and staff safety.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment.
• Document patient information, imaging parameters, and procedural details accurately in the hospital’s system.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services.
• Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across various healthcare facilities.
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of CT Tech practice.

Requirements

• One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist.
• Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations.
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC).

Preferred Qualifications

• Current ARRT Certification.
• Additional certifications and licenses as required for the position.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
