Travel CT Technologist - $2,632 per week

About the Role

As a Travel CT Technologist, you will operate CT scanners to produce cross-sectional images for diagnostic purposes. You will prepare and position patients, ensure imaging protocols are followed, and collaborate with radiologists to obtain high-quality images. The role involves maintaining equipment, documenting patient information, and adhering to safety procedures to minimize radiation exposure.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes
• Prepare patients for procedures, explain the imaging process, and position patients appropriately
• Set appropriate technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology
• Provide high-quality images to Radiologists for interpretation
• Adhere to radiation safety standards and hospital policies to ensure patient and staff safety
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of CT equipment
• Document patient information, imaging parameters, and procedural details accurately in the hospital’s system
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to deliver timely diagnostic services
• Adapt to different CT equipment and protocols across various healthcare facilities
• Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of CT Tech practice

Requirements

• One year of recent experience as a CT Technologist
• Valid Radiology license in compliance with state regulations
• Current BLS certification (AHA/ARC)
• Current ARRT Certification (preferred)
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Proficiency in PC skills and ability to follow written/verbal instructions
