The technologist is responsible for effectively communicating procedures to patients, ensuring their understanding and comfort, and producing images for interpretation by a licensed practitioner. Qualifications Years of Experience Required: 2 years Certifications Required: Registered in Radiography (ARRT) (R) Registered in Computed Tomography (ARRT) (CT) S.C. Radiologic Technology (SCRQSA) BLS Certification Experience Required: Adult Inpatient and Emergency settings Experience with Siemens equipment/PACS Highly Preferred Experience: Level I/Level II Trauma Pediatrics Orthopedic exams in both modalities Additional Information Radiation Badge Requirement: A radiation badge must be provided by the agency. Radius Rule: Yes, 60 miles. Local Candidates: Accepted on a case-by-case basis. RTO Restrictions: All requests for time off must be included at the time of submission. Guaranteed Hours: The facility may cancel 1 shift per 2 weeks. Parking: A one-time payment of $20 for a parking pass will apply for night and weekend shifts. Hurricane Season: Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season, all employees may be assigned to emergency response teams; please refrain from confirming new assignments during this period.
