A CT Technologist position is available in Montrose, Colorado. This role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography (CT) scanners while providing compassionate patient care and ensuring safety standards are met. Schedule: Days, 4-10's (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday)
Minimum Hours Per Week: 40.0
Shift Hours: 10 hours per shift

Qualifications & Certifications
Completion of an AMA approved School of Radiologic Technology plus completion of an accredited CT program, or graduation from a bachelor's degree program in Radiology with two semesters of clinical rotation in CT;
ARRT certification in Radiography;
CT certification within 18 months of employment;
BLS certification.
Experience
Prefer one year experience but not mandatory.
Technical Skills
Knowledge of anatomy and physiology as it relates to Radiologic exams;
Excellent communication skills;
Proficiency in scheduling procedures and supplies in electronic health records;
Demonstrated proficiency in IV placement for contrast administration;
Ability to evaluate CT scans for technical quality.
Physical Demands
Ability to lift twenty (20) pounds;
Moving, lifting, or transferring patients involving lifting of up to fifty (50) pounds, and assisting with weights of more than one-hundred (100) pounds;
Ability to stand for extended periods;
Fine motor skills;
Visual acuity.
Additional Responsibilities
Assist radiologists with imaging procedures, starting IVs, and injecting contrast if applicable;
Clock scheduling and patient flow;
Provide orientation and training to new staff and students;
Develop new protocols;
Assist with education of physicians when needed.
