Schedule

• Hours per week: 36
• Shift: 12 hours, nights
• Work schedule: 3x12-hour night shifts on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• Holiday rotation required
• On-call rotation required with staff
• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

Facility & Equipment

• Facility is a Magnet-designated teaching hospital and Level 1 Trauma Center with 865 staffed beds
• Comprehensive Stroke Center providing routine studies, outpatient care, cardiac procedures, and Interventional Radiology
• Equipment includes: Siemens Force (Somaris 7), Siemens Go.Top (Somaris 10), and Siemens Somatom Definition (Somaris 7)
• Daily census of 130 patients
• 3 rooms available

Responsibilities

• May float to Interventional Radiology (IR) as needed
• Floating required to sister facilities and throughout all buildings when needed
• Travelers are expected to attend staff meetings
• 40 orientation hours required
• Treats patient age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience preferred; 6 months Level 1 Trauma experience required
• First-time travelers accepted with previous experience
• Level 1 Trauma experience required
• Siemens equipment experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT RT (R)(CT), and SCRQSA (R)(CT)
• Charting system: Epic (required)
• Agency must supply radiation badge - facility does not provide radiation badges to travelers

Skills

• CT imaging of head, chest, abdomen, pelvis, cardiac, vascular, musculoskeletal trauma
• Multiplanar reconstruction and 3D rendering
• Preparation and administration of contrast media
• Radiation safety
• Starting peripheral IVs
• PACS
• Preferred IR/Angio/Special Procedures experience including biopsies and drainage

Pay

• Estimated Gross Weekly Pay: $2619.48
• Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined
