About the role

We are looking for a travel CT Technologist who provides excellent patient care and high-quality exams, brings out the best in others, and adds value to our team. Fluency in the following is preferred: Bone Densitometry, Fluoroscopy, C-arm, Computed Tomography, and Portable Radiography.

The York Hospital Imaging Team is responsible for providing X-ray services at the main hospital campus as well as seven walk-in care facilities: York, Wells, Sanford, Berwick, South Berwick, and Kittery. CT services are provided at the main hospital campus and the Wells location. The technologist must be willing to work at any of these locations as needed.

Shift lengths will vary between 3 and 12 hours. The primary schedule includes Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7:00 am to 7:30 pm. Shifts and locations may change with little notice, so flexibility is critical. Depending on the shift location, duties may include patient registrations, clerical support, and other tasks to assist walk-in teams.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT exams and provide excellent patient care
• Work collaboratively to support the imaging team and enhance team performance
• Operate CT equipment, including Bone Densitometry, Fluoroscopy, C-arm, and Portable Radiography as needed
• Work at various locations, including the main hospital and walk-in care facilities
• Assist with patient registrations, clerical tasks, and other duties to support walk-in teams at off-site locations

Requirements

• ARRT Registered
• Maine RT Licensure
• BLS Certification
• Minimum of 36 guaranteed hours per week
• CT experience is mandatory; do NOT apply without it
• Flexibility to adapt to changing shift locations and schedules

Schedule

• 36 hours per week, 9-hour shifts (night shifts, subject to variation)
• Primary schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 7:00 am to 7:30 pm
• Shift lengths may vary between 3 and 12 hours
• Shifts and locations assigned 7 days in advance but may change with little notice

Pay

Pay package is based on 9-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) and includes a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
