Travel CT Technologist - $2,599 per week

About the role

Supplemental Health Care is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a contract position at a partnering hospital in Birmingham, Alabama. Start date: ASAP. Employment type: Travel. Shift: 8‑hour shifts, 40 hours per week. Contract length: 13 weeks (with a noted 16‑week option possible).

Responsibilities

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure patient safety
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients
• Ensuring patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices
• Evaluating CT scans to determine technical quality

Requirements

• Current ARRT certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) certification preferred
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred
• 1–2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program

Skills

• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols

Pay

$2,398 – $2,599 per week (based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week; tax‑free stipend to be determined).

Schedule

40 hours per week, 8‑hour shifts; PM shifts available.
