About the role
TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a Computed Tomography Technologist (CT Tech) for an immediate travel assignment in Nashua, New Hampshire. This is a 13-week contract with 36 hours per week on 12-hour night shifts.
Responsibilities
- Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain procedures to patients.
- Interpret doctors' written instructions accurately.
- Position patients correctly to scan specific areas of their bodies.
- Use computed tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images of internal organs and tissues.
- Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance visibility of internal organs and tissues.
- Evaluate CT scans for technical quality.
- Follow radiation safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Utilize the McKesson PACS system.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist.
- BLS certification.
- ARRT (CT) National Certification with registration in computed tomography.
- State-specific licensing where required.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for extended periods.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
- Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
Pay
Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
