About the role
The primary responsibility is to perform computed tomography (CT) scans under the supervision of a radiologist.
Responsibilities
- Position patients appropriately for imaging studies
- Operate and maintain CT equipment
- Document patient information accurately
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare team members
Requirements
- Current state of Michigan CT Technologist license
- Experience in performing CT scans
- Knowledge of radiation safety practices
- Excellent communication skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Completion of an accredited CT technologist program
- Passing score on the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) exam
