Travel CT Technologist - $2,592 per week - 1531251

Supplemental Health Care is hiring CT Technologists for contract opportunities at a partnering Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama. Join a leading healthcare team and put your imaging skills to work in a role that offers both professional growth and rewarding patient care.

Responsibilities

• Using computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images
• Sterilizing radiologic equipment to ensure the safety of patients
• Explaining scanning procedures to patients
• Ensuring patient safety and comfort, including appropriate radiation protection practices
• Evaluating CT scans to determine whether they are of good technical quality

Requirements

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiography (R); ARRT (CT) certification preferred
• Active state radiologic technologist license (if applicable)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association; ACLS preferred
• 1–2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist; prior CT imaging experience strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and CT imaging protocols

Contract Details

• 13-week contract with possibility to extend
• 40 hours per week
• AM shifts available
• 8-hour shifts, days

Pay

$2,398 - $2,592 per week
