Trustaff Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Burlington, Wisconsin, starting 09/08/2026.

About the role

This position involves working 36 hours per week on 12-hour evening shifts (Saturday–Sunday 09:30–22:00, Monday 08:30–21:00) with one holiday during the contract. The role requires interchangeable skills in both CT and X-ray, as the traveler will work independently at night without additional support.

Facility details

  • 123-bed facility in Burlington, WI
  • Level III Trauma Center
  • Primary Stroke Center
  • COVID vaccine required
  • 2 CT rooms and 1 X-ray room with 2 portable machines
  • Average of 45 scans per day

Responsibilities

  • Perform CT and X-ray procedures, including:
    • CT: strokes, traumas, abdominal, COVID, CTA, angiography, contrast/non-contrast, vascular
    • X-Ray: fluoroscopy, OR cases, all body parts (chest, abdominal, hand, joint, extremity)
  • Work independently during night shifts
  • Float between X-ray and CT based on department needs
  • Adhere to scheduling requirements, including availability to work 7 days a week
  • Respond to on-call needs within 30 minutes when required

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in an acute care setting (first-time travelers accepted with sufficient experience)
  • Proficiency in both CT and X-ray, including:
    • CT: IV skills (preferred), power injection, GE or Toshiba experience, CTA experience, trauma/stroke experience
    • X-Ray: general X-ray, Fuji or Cannon experience, fluoroscopy
  • Required certifications:
    • BLS
    • ARRT
    • WI state license
  • EPIC charting system experience (required)
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends based on department needs

Orientation & Support

  • 4-day orientation:
    • Day 1: Meet with supervisor
    • Days 2–4: Training with X-ray and CT techs
  • Supervisor: Imaging Supervisor and Director of Imaging, Cardiovascular Service Line
  • Equipment used: McKesson PACS, GE and Toshiba CT scanners, Fuji (portable) and Cannon X-ray

Schedule details

  • 12-hour evening shifts (Saturday–Sunday 09:30–22:00, Monday 08:30–21:00)
  • 6-week schedule provided 4 weeks in advance
  • Must be available to work 7 days a week based on department needs
  • 1 holiday during the contract
  • On-call requirements based on needs (30-minute response time)
