About the role
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment at a rural Critical Access Hospital (CAH) in North Dakota.
Responsibilities
- Perform CT and general X-ray studies
- Perform pain exams using the C-arm
- Transmit studies to the radiologist for interpretation
- Complete associated documentation
Requirements
- Active BLS, ARRT(R), and ND MIRT certifications required
- Active state or compact (NLC) licensure required if applicable
- Driver’s license required for consideration
- Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
- No direct employment with CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity-affiliated facilities within the past year
- Self-scheduling and block scheduling are not available
- All requested time off must be submitted upfront
Qualifications
- Experience in both CT and general X-ray
- Active state or compact (NLC) licensure required if applicable
- Driver’s license required for consideration
Skills
- IV placement
- Knowledge of McKesson PACS and MEDITECH EMR

Pay
The pay package is based on 9 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
4x9-hour day shifts per week, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM, with rotating on-call coverage for nights, weekends, and holidays. Call response time of 30 minutes required.
