About the role
The Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist is a highly skilled professional who uses specialized computerized x-ray equipment to produce cross-sectional images of the human anatomy which aid radiologists in diagnosing a wide variety of diseases and disorders.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography equipment
- Prepare patients for examination and explain procedures to ensure their comfort and safety
- Operate and maintain CT equipment to ensure optimal image quality
- Document patient information accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and communicate imaging results
Requirements
- 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RRT) or eligible for certification
- Knowledge of radiation protection principles and techniques
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Skills
- Proficient in operating CT equipment
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay
Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
