About the role

The Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist is a highly skilled professional who uses specialized computerized x-ray equipment to produce cross-sectional images of the human anatomy which aid radiologists in diagnosing a wide variety of diseases and disorders.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using computed tomography equipment
• Prepare patients for examination and explain procedures to ensure their comfort and safety
• Operate and maintain CT equipment to ensure optimal image quality
• Document patient information accurately and efficiently
• Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and communicate imaging results

Requirements

• 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current certification as a Registered Radiologic Technologist (RRT) or eligible for certification
• Knowledge of radiation protection principles and techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Skills

• Proficient in operating CT equipment
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
