Travel CT Technologist - $2,575 per week

Cross Country Allied is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a 13‑week assignment in Springfield, Illinois, starting October 19, 2026. The role involves performing a variety of CT imaging procedures to support adult acute care, outpatient, ICU, emergency department, and Level I Trauma patient care while maintaining safety and image quality standards in a fast‑paced, third‑shift environment. Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures for adult acute care, outpatient, ICU, emergency department, and Level I Trauma patients
• Maintain radiation safety and image quality standards
• Prepare and administer contrast media
• Maintain PPE and observe isolation precautions
• Work within scope to meet facility needs

Requirements

Required work setting experience: adult acute care, adult outpatient, ICU, emergency department, Level I trauma center.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification
• ARRT‑CT certification
• BLS certification
• Active Illinois state license or in application process with ETA
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Valid driver's license in Illinois
• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Radiologic Sciences or a related field

Skills

• Abdomen and pelvis scans with and without contrast
• Chest scans with and without contrast
• Head and neck scans
• Vascular chest imaging
• Advanced image display and post‑processing skills including 3D rendering and multiplanar reconstruction
• Performing procedures such as coronary CTA and starting peripheral IVs
